Mumbai Indians have always been known for finding good uncapped players. Last season as well, they had Vignesh Puthur and Ashwani Kumar, who made their IPL debuts and did a decent job. Out of them, Ashwani was also retained for this season.
They also give chances to young players, and who knows, Krish Bhagat, who was with them as a net bowler this season, might get a chance to make his debut now after joining the squad.
Mumbai Indians have played four matches so far in IPL 2026. They have won only one match and lost three matches in a row.
Their next match is against Punjab Kings at the Wankhede Stadium today, April 16.
