Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is the first uncapped player to score two IPL hundreds.
The Rajasthan Royals’ wonder kid, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, has notched up the third-fastest hundred in the RR vs SRH IPL 2026 match.
The 15-year-old is thoroughly enjoying his second edition of the league, putting up 357 runs in eight appearances to become the highest run-getter of the IPL 2026 so far. Earlier, Vaibhav was dismissed for a golden duck when the side took on Hyderabad in an away fixture of the ongoing season. But in the RR vs SRH match, the opener registered a stellar comeback to score a 37-ball 103. His blazing knock comprised a jaw-dropping 12 maximums and five boundaries, striking at a pulsating rate of 278.37.
Notably, his maiden IPL hundred had also come in the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur last season, when Vaibhav reached the three-figure mark in just 35 balls. Tonight, he took just one delivery more to bring up his second IPL century.

With this spectacular innings, Vaibhav became the youngest ever to score 1,000 T20 runs. He is also the fastest batter (by balls faced) to achieve the feat, reaching the milestone in only 473 deliveries.
However, the last time these two sides faced in the IPL 2026, SRH had bundled Rajasthan out for only 159 runs. But following a whirlwind display from Vaibhav, South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira also put on a fiery show in the RR vs SRH game. He amassed a quickfire 16-ball 33, including three fours and as many over-boundaries, to propel the Royals to a huge 200-plus total.
In response, the Orange Army have also been off to a brisk start. At the time of writing, the visitors are at 89/1 after the powerplay, with Abhishek Sharma (34 off 17) and Ishan Kishan (35 off 14) at the crease.
