The 200+ mark has been breached thrice in four WPL 2026 matches so far.
A glance at the top 10 highest totals in WPL history and an innings-by-innings analysis of some of the highest team scores in Women’s Premier League.
The Women’s Premier League (WPL) has consistently pushed the boundaries of high-scoring T20 cricket since its inception in 2023. With flat pitches, fearless batting, and increasing depth across line-ups, 200-plus totals have become a recurring theme rather than a rarity.
The trend has continued in WPL 2026, with Gujarat Giants registering 207/4 against UP Warriorz, a total that now sits comfortably among the top 10 highest scores in WPL history. That innings further underlined how batting standards in the league continue to rise season after season.
With that in mind, here’s a complete look at the highest totals in WPL history, updated to include all major performances.

Batting first, UP Warriorz posted 225/5 in their 20 overs on the back of a Georgia Voll spectacle. The 21-year-old Aussie batter hammered an unbeaten 99 off 56 deliveries. Kiran Navgire blasted 46 off 16 while Grace Harris struck 39 off 22. UP Warriorz later survived a Richa Ghosh onslaught to win the match by 12 runs.
In the second match of the league in 2023, Delhi Capitals piled on 223/2 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Brabourne Stadium. They held the record for two years until Saturday’s fixture.
The Delhi Capitals opening pair of Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma blew the opponents away with a 162-run partnership. Shafali smashed 84 runs in 45 balls while Lanning hit 72 off 43. Marizanne Kapp also struck 39* off 17. Tara Norris then picked up a five-for as they beat RCB Women by 60 runs.
RCB’s defeat against UP Warriorz also witnessed another highest totals in WPL. They were in a must-win situation to keep their title defence alive. The Lucknow pitch was flat, which gave them an outside chance of chasing down 226.
Sabbhineni Meghana scored 27 off 12 while Ellyse Perry struck 28 off 15 before RCB lost half the side for 107. Richa Ghosh kept them in the game with 69 runs in 33 deliveries. Sneh Rana played a superb cameo of 26 in six balls, but her dismissal brought curtains on their campaign.

Mumbai Indians produced one of their most dominant batting displays during the Eliminator, with another highest totals in WPL. They piled up 213/4 against Gujarat Giants to storm into the final. Nat Sciver-Brunt and Hayley Matthews laid the foundation with a commanding partnership, both scoring 77, before Harmanpreet Kaur’s late assault ensured a massive finish.
Sciver-Brunt set the tempo early, Matthews accelerated through the middle overs, and Harmanpreet smashed 36 off just 12 balls as Mumbai capitalised on Gujarat’s sloppy fielding, which included four dropped catches. The total proved far beyond Gujarat’s reach, as they were bowled out for 166, handing Mumbai a 47-run win and extending their dominance over the Giants in WPL knockouts.
Just two days after hitting 223, Delhi Capitals Women put on yet another big score in the WPL 2023. Facing Alyssa Healy’s UP Warriorz at DY Patil Stadium, DC Women posted 211/4.
Lanning starred with the bat, scoring 70 off 42, while Jemimah Rodrigues added 34 off 22. Jess Jonassen made 42 not out from 20 balls at the back end. They ended up winning the game comfortably by 42 runs.
The first-ever WPL match witnessed Mumbai Indians pile on 207/5 in their 20 overs against Gujarat Giants. Batting first, Hayley Matthews got them off to a good start with 47 runs in 31 deliveries. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur blasted 65 off just 30 while Amelia Kerr struck an unbeaten 45 off 24.
Saika Ishaque starred with the ball, claiming four wickets for 11 in 3.1 overs as they bowled out the opponents for just 64. Ishaq was the find of the season while Mumbai Indians were the eventual champions.
Gujarat Giants produced one of their highest totals in WPL with a commanding 207/4 against UP Warriorz, riding on a dominant captain’s knock and a decisive middle-overs partnership. After a brisk start from Sophie Devine, the innings was anchored by skipper Ashleigh Gardner, who smashed 65 off 41 balls, combining power with control through the middle phase.
Gardner found an ideal partner in debutant Anushka Sharma, whose composed 44 off 30 balls ensured they never lost momentum after the early wicket of Beth Mooney. The pair rotated strike efficiently before accelerating against UPW’s spinners. Late fireworks from Georgia Wareham and Bharti Fulmali, who struck four sixes between them in the final two overs, pushed Gujarat past the 200 mark.
