Can England Qualify for Super 8?

vs Nepal (February 8, Mumbai)

The England vs Nepal clash in the T20 World Cup 2026 was crucial for the Harry Brook-led side as it set the tone for their campaign. England, however, escaped a narrow win by four runs.

vs West Indies (February 11, Mumbai)

The most important battle for the T20 World Cup 2026 Group C qualification scenarios was England vs West Indies. England had won three of the last four completed matches between the two. Despite the odds favouring, England failed to chase 197 and lost the match by 30 runs.

vs Scotland (February 14, Kolkata)

England again faced a scare during their batting innings. They restricted Scotland to a mere 152 in the first innings. However, during the chase, they lost a few early wickets and were in trouble, but Tom Banton played a prudent knock and helped them win by five wickets.

vs Italy (February 16, Kolkata)

Italy is another European team that England had to deal with. Despite setting a 200+ total, they had a tough time. Ben Manenti hammered a 25-ball 60 to keep Italy in the game. But Sam Curran took two wickets on consecutive balls in the 16th over to keep England in the hunt. Italy put 178 on the board, but England eventually won by 24 runs.
