The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League kicked off with previous winners, Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, in a thrilling contest at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 9.

After 20 matches, RCB, Gujarat Giants, and Delhi Capitals qualified for the WPL 2026 playoffs. The 2024 champions will play the WPL 2026 final directly on February 5. The WPL 2026 matches are taking place at two venues- in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara. For the first leg in Navi Mumbai, the matches were scheduled from January 9 to January 17. The second leg began on January 19 and will conclude with the WPL 2026 final on February 5.
