Delhi Capitals

Ahead of the mega auction, Delhi Capitals let go of Meg Lanning, who led the team to three finals. They have now appointed Jemimah Rodrigues as the captain.

Wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia has been ruled out of the tournament as she failed to recover from a knee injury that she sustained a few months ago. However, according to the rules set by the BCCI, the Giants cannot sign a replacement player as Bhatia was injured during the auction. Beth Mooney will continue to keep wickets for GG.

Mumbai Indians

After winning a trophy in alternate years, Mumbai Indians are one of the most exciting teams to watch out for this season. Harmanpreet Kaur will continue to lead the side for the fourth season.

WPL 2026 Tickets Info

The WPL 2026 matches are taking place at two venues- in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara. For the first leg in Navi Mumbai, the matches will run from January 9 to January 17. The second leg will begin on January 19 and will conclude with the WPL 2026 final on February 5.

All tickets can be booked on the District by Zomato app and website at a low price of INR 100 per person.
